Musical Extravaganza coming to North Yorkshire farm

By Published June 07, 2017

A North Yorkshire farmer will open up his barn for a night of live music this Saturday (June 10), to raise funds for Friends of The Friarage.

The annual Barn That Rocks event, now in its seventh year, has become a labour of love for Peter Fall, 70, and wife, Barbara, who now combine the daily chores of running Grazingnook Farm, near Patrick Brompton, close to Bedale, with organising the annual musical extravaganza for all the family.

The event, featuring live bands, a fully stocked bar and high quality, local food, has raised more than £30,000 for local charities in the past six years, including Great North Air Ambulance, Yorkshire Air Ambulance and local branches of Marie Curie Cancer Care.

This year, it is set to benefit The Friarage Hospital in Northallerton, as profits go to Friends of The Friarage.

Tickets are still available at £12.50 for adults and £5 for under 16s, who must be accompanied by an adult.
