From The Big Apple to The Boro for Jools Holland

By Published October 19, 2018

JOOLS Holland sets his sights on a return show to Middlesbrough Town Hall next year.

From New York to Middlesbrough, the national treasure and former Squeeze legend will make a welcome return to the Town Hall on Saturday, May 18 with his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

After a short stint at the legendary Blue Note Café in New York, and a forthcoming short and intimate European club tour, Jools is embarking on his Spring/Summer UK Tour with the Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

This will kick off in May featuring Gilson Lavis, special guest to be announced plus guest vocalists Ruby Turner and Louise Marshall.

All these fantastic acts will be joining Jools and the Orchestra on stage for this year's Autumn/Winter tour of the UK and Ireland.

Middlesbrough Town Hall will also see the likes of Later… with Jools Holland star Hailey Tuck perform at Middlesbrough’s Jazz Weekender this coming weekend (October 19-21).

Lorna Fulton, Head of Programmes at Middlesbrough Town Hall, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Jools Holland back here at Middlesbrough Town Hall.

“The atmosphere is always fantastic and his shows are extremely popular so we would strongly recommend booking early.”

Tickets for Jools Holland Tour with The Rhythm & Blues Orchestra are £36.50/£42 and are available from Middlesbrough Town Hall Box Office on 01642 729 729 orwww.middlesbroughtownhall.co.uk
