Linthorpe Community Meeting Postponed

By Published March 17, 2020

A COMMUNITY meeting to discuss crime issues in Linthorpe has been postponed.

The Linthorpe community police meeting was due to take place at the Friends Meeting House tomorrow (Tuesday, March 17).

Organisers have taken the decision to hold it at a later date due to ongoing concerns over the Coronavirus outbreak.

Linthorpe ward Councillor Philippa Storey said: "In the light of what's been happening we want to keep our residents safe as possible.

"As such, we will be postponing our police meeting on Tuesday.

"If residents have particular questions they would like to out to the police, if they can email their questions to councillors who forward them on to the police.

"We'd like to thank our residents for their understanding and please stay safe."
