A WREATH will be laid this Saturday (August 15) at Middlesbrough's cenotaph to mark VJ Day and commemorate the end of the Second World War.

MIDDLESBROUGH'S ever-popular pantomime has been put on hold - but Theatre bosses have vowed that the show will go on next year.

MIDDLESBROUGH Theatre is proud to announce that Outdoor Theatre is back and heading to Newham Grange Farm on Friday, August 7.

A new competition run by Middlesbrough Reads, a campaign from the National Literacy Trust and Middlesbrough Council, gives local children the opportunity to feature in a published story about lockdown.
