Local charity seeks potential volunteers to support families of prisoners in Teesside

A north east charity, supporting over 124,000 visitors to north east prisons each year, is seeking new volunteers to help support families and children impacted by the criminal justice system in the Teesside area.
THANKS to a generous grant from The True Colours Trust The James Cook University Hospital’s children’s ward now has a ‘Breathing Space’ for parents and carers.
A new role has been created to offer more victims of crime the opportunity to communicate with the person responsible.
TEESSIDE’s heart unit is marking a milestone anniversary after 30 years of delivering state-of-the-art care to patients with cardiovascular disease across the region and beyond.
