The ‘D BEST’ charity team has collected more than £90,000 for local good causes since 2008.
Every year the dedicated team from Little Ormesby Institute raises a considerable amount of money and donates it to a lucky cause.
Proving to be ‘D BEST’ once again this year, the team raised £10,000 for South Cleveland Heart Fund through activities such as sponsored walks, raffles, blind cards and the Boxing Day dip.
South Cleveland Heart Fund chairman, Adrian Davies, said: “The money will go towards advancing the Cardio Intensive Care Unit at The James Cook University Hospital to help it continue to be a leading unit.
“It’s due to excellent fundraisers like these that we’re able to continue to do we what we do and we are extremely grateful.”
