This deliciously dark thriller from a tale by the master of terror and mystery, Arthur Conan Doyle - with twists and turns worthy of an Agatha Christie whodunit - weaves its way through a sinister labyrinth of marital infidelity and revenge that will haunt your mind forever.
When Helen regains consciousness, she finds herself bound and blindfolded in a locked room.

Her captor, best friend Catherine, challenges her to a deadly game of Russian roulette to decide which of them will win the handsome film star they both desire.
But the game - like the room - is far from what it seems … are they alone in the room … or is there someone watching?
The Nightmare Room comes from the pen of John Goodrum whose adaptations for Rumpus Theatre - including The Ghost Ship, The Haunted Doll’s House and The Ripper Files – have consistently thrilled Middlesbrough audiences in recent years.

The Nightmare Room opens at Middlesbrough Theatre on Wednesday, September 20 and runs until Friday, September 22.
Tickets cost £14/£12 concessions and only £10 for the Friday matinee.
