Published August 28, 2018 By

MIDDLESBROUGH’S newly revamped Newham Grange Farm will play host to an end of summer Alice in Wonderland weekend event.

Alice, the Cheshire Cat and the Mad Hatter will be taking over the farm at Coulby Newham for one weekend only and families can expect to see themed performances, activities, a Mad Hatter’s tea party and a whole host of characters.

Join the Hatter and his guests from 9.30am-5.30pm on Saturday, September 1 and Sunday September 2 for a lovely cup of tea and some silly surprises.

Two spectacular live performances will take place led by Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum which will include juggling, acro-balance, fire breathing, dance, silly comedy clowning, fire juggling and more.

Other activities include a Mad Hatter’s hat workshop, the white rabbit trail, flamingo croquet, giant playing cards, family games and face painting.

Entry to the event is £5 per day per child and £4 per day per adult or £16 per family (2 adults 2 children) and OAPs are the same price as adults. This is for entry to the farm for the whole day, no additional cost.

Newham Grange Farm is undergoing some developments and the farm has recently benefited from a new toddler play area and a refurbished animal Discovery Barn. Further developments will take place over the coming months.
