He’ll be greeting local children in his Grotto at Hemlington Library Hub amongst the annual Christmas in Hemlington festivities.
The day offers something for everyone. Hemlington Library will host the Grotto, with a variety of stalls, Punch and Judy, face painting and entertainment across the two buildings.
The annual event is organised by Hemlington Community Council, local councillors and library staff and funded by the Community Council and Thirteen Group
Community Council Chair Linda Boyes said: “This is a great annual community event which is always well-attended, with local groups joining in and contributing to the stalls in the library.
“I hope as many people as possible will join us to enjoy a great community atmosphere, join in the festivities and perhaps find that special Christmas gift.”
Admission is free although there will be a charge of £1 for the Grotto to contribute towards a gift from Santa.
