PCC commences search for ‘exceptional’ chief constable to lead Cleveland Police

Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) Matt Storey has launched the formal process to recruit Cleveland Police’s next Chief Constable.
Responding to the publication of Cleveland Police's HMICFRS PEEL Inspection report, Police and Crime Commissioner Matt Storey said: “I’m delighted that the scale and impact of Cleveland Police’s improvement has been recognised by His Majesty’s Inspectorate in their latest report on the force’s performance.
A new Tess-wide strategy to tackle violence against women and girls (VAWG) has been launched by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.
Improving safety for women and girls is key to building a better Cleveland, according to Cleveland Police and Crime Commissioner Matt Storey.
