Folk opera celebrating history of migration to Middlesbrough set for town hall

Life stories of more than 2,000 people will be celebrated in a folk opera performed at Middlesbrough Town Hall next week.
People jailed for their role in last summer’s violent disorder will be invited to research their family history to highlight how migration has helped shape Middlesbrough.
