A new Tess-wide strategy to tackle violence against women and girls (VAWG) has been launched by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.
“There’s nothing like this anywhere else,” according to one Appropriate Adult volunteer about her work with vulnerable detainees in custody.
Improving safety for women and girls is key to building a better Cleveland, according to Cleveland Police and Crime Commissioner Matt Storey.
The soon-to-be-published Tees-wide Perpetration Strategy will make sure domestic abuse perpetrators are held to account for violence and abuse committed against women and girls (VAWG).
