A pop-up vaccine clinic returns to Middlesbrough town centre on Wednesday (August 18) with everyone turning up for a jab in with a chance of winning Boro tickets.

Middlesbrough and the rest of the North East will receive extra national support to tackle high Covid infection rates.

Being considerate of other people and getting double vaccinated is vital with Middlesbrough's Covid rate so high, Mayor Andy Preston said today.

First and second doses of the Pfizer vaccine will be available to people aged 18 and over – second doses will only be given to people who had their first Pfizer dose at least 8 weeks ago.
