A Teesside charity has been awarded more than £91,000-worth of extra funding to support survivors of sexual violence and abuse recover from their ordeal.

A crackdown on crime in East Middlesbrough has continued after a third problem property was shut down in less than three months.
Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland, Matt Storey, said: “The Government has ambitious plans for reducing crime and improving policing standards across the country, all of which require significant investment to enable PCCs and Chief Constables to improve services locally.
A pioneering approach to breaking the destructive cycle of children caught up in, or at risk of, crime that is being trialled in Middlesbrough should be adopted across the UK according to an influential national report.
