Paul Burns, from co-organisers, Tees Music Alliance outlines the importance of events like Stockton Calling to the local music offer;

“Festivals like Stockton Calling are a great way for audiences to see a huge number of artists in one place over a single day – they are also great occasions for artists to play; whether they are travelling into town, or whether they are local artists making a home appearance at a big event.

“It’ll also be a great day for the town centre businesses who open their doors for the crowds too – it’s always great to see the pubs and restaurants busy, and our good-natured audience always knows how to have a great day out in Stockton.”

The Stockton Calling festival will return for its 14th edition this year, having started in 2010 - making it the longest running event of its kind in the North East. The festival attracts a crowd of around 2,000 music fans into Stockton town centre for the day - boosting trade across local pubs, restaurants and food outlets as people making a beeline for the town.

Stockton Calling is co promoted by Tees Music Alliance, ARC and KU Promotions - and the festival sees 9 stages being presented in a range of venues across the town centre, featuring 60 artists performing from early afternoon onwards.

Tickets for 2025 are now available at www.stocktoncalling.co.uk - selling at the same price as last year, £40 for the full day including all booking fees.
