Cancer survivors are uniting to share their stories of being diagnosed in a bid to raise awareness of a condition that affects more than 33,000 individuals in the UK. 

A TEESSIDE man is recounting a harrowing experience of how he was on the verge of losing his eyesight forever if not for the NHS and thanking them for their outstanding care. 

“MY mum saved two lives through organ donation” is the poignant message from NHS worker Helen Wilson, who is urging everyone to register their decision on the NHS Organ Donor register. 

A TEESSIDE resident is recalling the hardest battle he has ever fought with alcohol and encouraging others to quit the ‘worst addiction’, which takes thousands of lives each year.
