Can you make a pensioners dream come true?

Jason from CVFM Breakfast spoke to Ron Clark about his aunt's upcoming birthday, celebrating her 102nd birthday.  Ron said "as many of her family and friends have passed away Wyn doesn't have many people left around her, and to make this year special he would like people from the North East to send her a birthday card wishing her a happy birthday".

Anyone who would like to send a card or letter to Wyn should address it, Wyn Davison, C/O Ron Clark, 98 Rowan Avenue, Washington, NE38 9AG. Ron will then take the cards to his aunt’s home for her and read her the messages.


Health chiefs in the region have launched a new cancer campaign aimed at tackling the fall in the number of people going to their GP with concerns regarding cancer symptoms.

CANDIDATES have been confirmed for two Middlesbrough by-elections which will take place next week.

Cleveland Fire Brigade is urging residents to be extra vigilant if using candles over the winter months and also for those who celebrate the Hindu festival of Diwali.
