MIDDLESBROUGH Council has installed 20 new CCTV cameras across the North Ormesby, Grove Hill and Gresham areas - with 16 more to follow - with Mayor Andy Preston promising they will help identify and prosecute the town's trouble-makers, thugs and criminals.
MIDDLESBROUGH residents can now apply for Council funding to buy CCTV cameras for their homes.
INTERNATIONAL Women’s Day will be marked with a special event at Middlesbrough Town Hall on Thursday, March 7.
