East meets west as global music icons headline one of the UK’s most vibrant celebrations of culture, music and diversity.
The much‑anticipated Middlesbrough Mela 2025, marking the festival’s 35th anniversary, returned in style to Albert Park on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 August, as one of the UK’s longest-running multicultural festivals, it drew over 50,000 visitors across the weekend Middlesbrough Council.
One of the highlights of the region’s cultural calendar celebrates its 35th birthday when it returns this summer.
Excitement is mounting ahead of the 2024 Middlesbrough Mela.
