Live Shows, Family Fun and Pip Set for Welcome Return

By Published July 21, 2021

THERE is something for everyone to enjoy in Middlesbrough this month, with the return of live shows, music and family activities throughout the summer break.

The best emerging Teesside music talent is also on offer in Middlesbrough Town Hall's amazing summer sessions in the courtyard.

Drawing influences from old school soul and RnB to 90s funk and house, Boro duo Moon Wax have been racking up BBC Introducing ‘Single of the Week' accolades time and time again over the past year. Support comes from upcoming Hartlepool singer-songwriter Charlotte Grayson.

The ever-popular Orange Pip is back on Saturday, July 31 for the first time since lockdown restrictions began.

Food, drink, music and entertainment is available for all the family to enjoy in Centre Square. The limited capacity is on a first come first served basis.

A new yoga adventure will take place every Thursday from July 22 to August 26 at the Dorman Museum with Yoga Mike.

These fun-filled and chilled yoga classes for children will include discovering some amazing unseen objects from the museum collection. Sessions available for children aged five to seven and eight to 11.

Star of ITV's The Chase Paul ‘The Sinnerman' Sinha is bringing his very own big quiz to Middlesbrough Town Hall on Sunday, July 25. This socially distanced event will feature Paul as Quizmaster and there'll be tables of up to six people available to take part in the quiz.

Middlesbrough Theatre and friends are delighted to present a season of open-air theatre, from family-friendly fun to modern classics in the great outdoors in Middlesbrough Town Hall Courtyard and at Newham Grange Farm.

Tickets are on sale now and more details, including age guidance, can be found on the Middlesbrough Theatre website.

Middlesbrough Theatre is proud to have been awarded the Society of London Theatre/UK Theatre See It Safely kite mark in recognition of the safety measures in place.
