There are two grant schemes for events which must be open to residents or communities:
- Up to £1,000 for constituted groups for community-based activities
- Up to £250 to community groups or neighbours for locally-based street parties
Applications close at 9am on Monday, March 28. Any applications arriving after this date will not be considered.
Middlesbrough Deputy Mayor Councillor Mieka Smiles said: "It's been a really tough couple of years, but we've turned the corner.
"The Platinum Jubilee is something for everyone to get involved in and celebrate, and these grant will kick-start events to bring communities together, and act as a showcase for everything that makes Middlesbrough great."
