Double your donation to My Sisters Place in the Big Give's Women and Girls Match Fund 2022
My Sisters Place are taking part in the Women and Girls Match Fund 2022 to raise £25,000 in just one week! These funds will be used for domestic abuse trauma therapy for mothers and daughters.
We will provide a therapist who will work exclusively with mothers and daughters repairing fractured relationships caused by abuse.
This will be an innovative project in which we will monitor and evaluate the work with a view to disseminating this approach and the learning across the VAWG sector.

BORO-BASED UKRAINIANS SUPPORTED ON VITAL AID APPEAL
Middlesbrough Mayor Andy Preston has urged residents to support local Ukrainian families with collections of items for their compatriots.
Middlesbrough Council has agreed to assist the group by raising awareness and providing a number of places for donations to be delivered and sorted.
The group has links with others across the region to ensure there is no duplication and the right items are requested at the right time.

BEATING HEART IN PERMANENT RETURN TO BORO SKYLINE.
A striking artwork is once again lighting up the Middlesbrough night skyline.
Local artist Stuart Langley's 35-metre Beating Heart has returned as a permanent feature on Church House, one of the tallest buildings in the town centre.
The tower block's windows have been transformed by an animated LED matrix programmed to make a beating heart sequence every evening after dusk.
