LAYING OF THE FIRST POPPY AND ARMISTICE DAY 2023
Middlesbrough Mayor Chris Cooke will lay the First Poppy on the Field of Remembrance at the Cenotaph on Linthorpe Road at 10.40am on Thursday, November 9.
Pupils from Middlesbrough’s primary and secondary schools have been invited to lay a poppy cross in the Field of Remembrance.
A service will be held at the Cenotaph to observe the two-minute silence for Armistice Day which will start at 10.45am on Saturday, November 11.
