General Election and Council by-election results for Thursday, July 4, 2024 following counts at Middlesbrough Sports Village.

 A total of 34,999 ballots were cast from an electorate of 75,123, representing a turn-out of 45.92%.

Andy McDonald is therefore elected Member of Parliament for Middlesbrough & Thornaby East with a majority of 9,192.
