Dino Day is the last event of an amazing summer programme at the Dorman Museum, but the doors remain open until Sunday, September 29.
Forthcoming events and exhibitions include:
• Digital Football Walks – in the company of the Rekindle Group, hear how Middlesbrough FC was formed, learn about the very first kickabout and how memories of Ayresome Park still exist in the housing estate built on the site of the old ground. (Wednesday, September 4, 1pm).
• Virtual reality Pirate Jungle Ride - a fantastic 4D experience for all the family.
• The Boro Shirt Exhibition - charting the history of Middlesbrough FC through the club’s kits, and a must for Boro fans and anyone interested in the club’s history.
The Captain Cook Birthplace Museum will be closing for the season on Sunday, September 1. Be sure to book a visit before then to see the collection, and the Marton Hall Exhibition where visitors can learn about the history of Marton Hall through never-before-seen photographs from our archives.
