Local Offer Website Helps Improve Lives for Young People

YOUNG people with special educational needs and disabilities can access a range of support services from a new one-stop website launched by Middlesbrough Council.

Young people, as well as their parents, carers and healthcare professionals can visit the Local Offer website to find a range of useful information and tips on how to access education, healthcare, leisure activities, local transport, money services and more. 

Middlesbrough’s Local Offer website is part of a national programme which is helping to improve the standard of living for young people with specials needs and disabilities.

It provides a comprehensive list of services across Middlesbrough as well as providing information on the relevant services to contact if you think your child may have an additional need.

The Local Offer is developed, monitored and reviewed with the help of young people, parents, carers and professionals.
