The recruitment event is to provide the opportunity to meet employers who are currently recruiting and to find out about the support available to look for work.
It has been organised by Middlesbrough Council’s Troubled Families team and Jobcentre Plus and is aimed at the long-term unemployed.
The event will build upon last year’s event which was a success with over 200 people attending and 36% of those gaining a positive outcome from it.
It will take place at the Holiday Inn Express on Albert Road, Middlesbrough on Thursday, April 26, at 2pm.
There will be free refreshments and entry into a prize draw.
Confirmed employers in attendance include Splash Utilities, Bowen Consultancy, Learning Curve, MFC, Thirteen, Cable Com, Personal Support Network, First Source and I Tec.
