
MUSINC TALENT SHOWCASE BACK ON AFTER XMAS CANCELLATION
A showcase of young musical talent is set to bring the house down at Middlesbrough Town Hall this week.
The MUSINC Showcase was due to wow the musicians' friends and families but was cancelled following a temporary closure of the civic buildings complex in mid-December.
The showcase is an annual MUSINC tradition, and brings together participants across all of its projects so that they get the chance to present their hard work over the year.
The rescheduled event will now take place at the Middlesbrough Town Hall on Tuesday, February 15 from 6pm to 8.30pm.

A foodbank is the latest in a long line of good causes to sign up to a local lottery.
Middlesbrough Foodbank has signed up to the Middlesbrough Lottery - a weekly lottery which supports good causes, charities, community groups and sports groups based in the town.
Almost 50 causes, charities, community groups and sports clubs based in Middlesbrough have now signed up to the Middlesbrough Lottery, which is due to celebrate its six-month anniversary in early March.

TREE PLANTING TO MARK HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL DAY 2022.
A tree will be planted this week to mark Holocaust Memorial Day 2022 in Middlesbrough.
The Town Hall will also be lit in purple on Thursday (January 27) in commemoration of the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp.
