Middlesbrough Libraries heritage event invites local communities to share sporting scrapbooks, photos and collections as part of project to share and enhance town’s sports history records

FOOTBALL sessions are keeping community spirit alive and kicking in central Middlesbrough.

MEMORIES of ‘Golden Boy' Wilf Mannion are wanted as part of a collaboration between Manchester Metropolitan University historian and Heritage Unlocked founder Dr Tosh Warwick and Black Path Press - a community publishing project set up by artists Foundation Press.  

LOCAL author Colin Hatton will give an illustrated football talk at Middesbrough Central Library on Tuesday, January 22 from 2pm-3pm.
