The event – organised by Forces & Community Together (FACT) - takes place at Middlesbrough Sports Village from 2pm to 11pm.
Veterans, serving personnel, Armed Forces families and the wider community will come together for a full day of activities, entertainment and engagement.
FACT successfully applied for a Cultural Ambassador Grant from Middlesbrough Council, alongside other funds and donations and support from local businesses and organisations.
The day will feature military and Armed Forces organisations, cadets, a re-enactment group, emergency services, lots of family activities and games, entertainment, stalls, food and much more.
A FACT spokesperson said: “We are incredibly excited to be bringing this event to Middlesbrough.
“FACT is all about bringing our Armed Forces community and the wider community together, and we are determined to make this an event Middlesbrough can be proud of and, most importantly, one that properly celebrates and supports the Armed Forces community.
“We’re really grateful that Middlesbrough Council approved our Cultural Ambassador Grant application.
“We want veterans, serving personnel, Armed Forces families and local residents of all ages to come along, enjoy the day and have the opportunity to meet the organisations and people who support our Armed Forces community.”
Councillor Linda Lewis, Middlesbrough Council’s Armed Forces Champion, said: “Middlesbrough has a long and proud history of support for our Armed Forces, and this event is a great addition to that tradition.
“There really will be something for everyone, so I’d urge as many people as possible to come along and show how valued our service personnel – past and present – truly are.”
