Large plumes of black smoke could be seen filling the sky from Jap Euro North East Ltd yard, next to Middlesbrough College at Middlehaven.

Fire crews are currently still on scene with roads in the area still cordoned off as they deal with the aftermath following the blaze breaking out around 2pm.
Huge fireballs could be seen coming from the blaze with many hearing the loud explosions across Middlesbrough.
College students and members of the public gathered to watch the scene with 6 fire engines battling the blaze.
