The session on Tuesday, November 5 is open to all those planning to stand in the poll in the Middlesbrough constituency on Thursday, December 12.
It's a chance to pick up useful information and meet key members of the Electoral Services team including Returning Officer Tony Parkinson, Head of Democratic Services Sylvia Reynolds and Senior Electoral Services Officer John Stuart.
Key areas will be covered including important dates, qualifications and disqualifications, nominations, campaigning, agents, spending and contact details.
The session will take place in the Mandela Room at Middlesbrough Town Hall from 10am.
Other key dates include the deadline to register to vote, at midnight on Tuesday, November 26.
The deadline for postal votes is 5pm on Tuesday, November 26 and for proxy votes, 4pm on Wednesday, December 4.
