New partnership with alumna for Teesside University International Business School

Published December 02, 2022 By

A partnership between Teesside University International Business School and a leading sales consultancy will create opportunities for students as well as mutual benefits for both organisations.

Stockton-based Just Williams Consultancy already enjoys a close working relationship with the Business School and a recently-signed Memorandum of understanding has set out a number of objectives to develop this further.

Just Williams was founded in 2015 by Jessica Williams, a Teesside University MBA graduate, and provides outsourced sales and business development, as well sales training through its sister business the Just Williams Sales Academy.

Teesside University International Business School is a globally-focussed learning provider dedicated to developing the leaders of tomorrow through a blend of academic excellence, entrepreneurial thinking and real-world orientation.

Just Williams is housed at Teesside University’s business innovation centre, Fusion Hive, at Stockton’s Northshore and has worked with the University on several projects including student placements and guest lectures. Jessica also sits on the Business School’s Innovation Group.

The partnership intends to further strengthen the relationship between the two organisations across several key areas including:

Skills provision – the Business School will provide recruitment, skills and learning and development support to Just Williams which in turn will host work-based placements and projects for students.
Business development, sales and account management – Just Williams will work in partnership with the Business School in areas such as tender submissions, and funding bids.
Events series – Just Williams will work with the Business School to design and develop a series of annual business-facing events.
In addition, the two organisations will explore the potential of collaborative research in the form of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership.

Dr Ben Fisher, Associate Dean (Enterprise and Knowledge Exchange) said: “We are delighted to continue our work with Just Williams through this partnership.

“The success of Just Williams is a testament to Jessica’s tenacity and entrepreneurialism, and we are very proud to count her as one of our alumni.

“We are very pleased that she is continuing to support the work of Teesside University International Business School as she is an inspiring role model for our students who seek to emulate her achievements.”

Jessica Williams said: "Having worked with Teesside University in many guises over the last ten years, I'm delighted to sign a formal Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen our relationship.

"I'm really proud to be an ambassador for the University, and I look forward to working together with Teesside on a wide range of exciting events and projects moving forward."
