Hosted by the local musical group Fabulosa, the event raised £4,083 and saw more than 25 local musicians as well as artists travelling from across the country to delight the local crowd with their action-packed performances – all while charging nothing for their work.

 The proceeds from the sell-out event will help enable the centre to continue providing services such as massage, aromatherapy and acupuncture alongside mental health support, hair loss advice, groups and much more to those affected by cancer.

 Macmillan cancer information manager Lauren Farrow said: “Ottie and Linda and the wonderful Fabulosa group have been huge supporters of the Trinity Holistic Centre in recent years and have become firm friends of the team.

“They draw in talent from all over the country to put on their legendary music nights, which we love to share in. We are always humbled by their generosity, giving up their time to create a wonderful venue atmosphere, gather prizes and organise a sensational night.”

 Fabulosa Music Events was started by Ottie McLoughlin and Linda Zivanaris, in a bid to bring friends and musicians closer together whilst creating a platform for everyone to celebrate their shared love for music.

 The duo has been supporting the centre for several years now and has generously donated funds to the unit to enrich its services and provide the best care to our cancer patients.

 Linda added: “I had been made aware of the important work led by the Trinity Holistic Centre in Middlesbrough and this encouraged me to support the centre.

 “We loved the fact that they helped individuals of all ages in our local community who were undergoing cancer treatment.

 “Thanks to all those people who donated generously in our fantastic auctions and raffle throughout our musical night. Apart from raising such a wonderful amount of money, the night itself was a great success.”
