Fans of The Voice UK are in for a treat as semi-finalist Molly J brings her powerful vocals and international musical influences to Diwali in Middlesbrough.

The talented performer will take to the stage at Centre Square on Saturday, October 31, adding her distinctive sound and musical versatility to one of Teesside’s popular cultural celebrations.

A singer, songwriter, pianist, composer and producer, Molly J is making waves on the hit ITV talent show as a member of Team Tom Jones, showcasing the talent and creativity that have established her as an exciting emerging artist.

As a French-Congolese artist performing at a festival celebrating South Asian culture and traditions, her participation reflects the importance of cultural exchange, inclusion and unity through the arts.

Speaking ahead of her performance, Molly J said: “I’m incredibly excited to be part of the Diwali Festival.

“I’ve grown up surrounded by different cultures and musical influences, and I truly believe music is one of the most powerful ways to bring people together.

“Being part of The Voice UK and reaching the semi-finals with Team Tom Jones has been an amazing journey, and I’m grateful for every opportunity to share my passion with new audiences.

“Diwali is a beautiful celebration of light, hope and togetherness, and I’m looking forward to bringing my own energy, culture and sound to the stage.

“I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!”

Diwali in Middlesbrough Producer Kash Patel said: “Once again we are delighted to bring another rising star to showcase her talent on our Diwali stage.

“Her performance promises to bring a fresh and exciting energy to the festival, combining her classical musical foundations with contemporary sounds and international influences.”
